Policies & Procedures

At Balsam Rose Massage, our intention is to provide our clients with a professional and therapeutic session. The following policies and procedures serve as a guide for all clients of Balsam Rose Massage. The following are the current operating policies: 

CLIENT PAYMENT POLICIES

Beginning June 1, 2021 Balsam Rose Massage will go to contactless payments.  All services require prepayment in order to be scheduled.  Prepaid services are non-refundable.  Clients may choose to apply the credit towards the use of other services offered or reschedule any existing service(s) with a minimum of 24-hr advance notice.

All Events require a 20% deposit to schedule services.

  • If paying by ACH draft, the draft must be received 48 hours prior to your scheduled services.

  • Late payments for events are subject to a $50 late fee after the first 24 hours, and a $50 fee for every 30 days thereafter.

 

Acceptable Forms of Payment: Credit Card, Cash, ZellePay (guinia@balsamrose.com), Venmo (@Guinia-Annel), PayPal (Balsam Rose Massage), ApplePay.  No Checks Please

 

ARRIVAL TO YOUR APPOINTMENT

Please arrive 10 min before your scheduled appointment. This allows time for a brief consultation with the therapist and ensures you enjoy a relaxed and unhurried experience.  If late arrival is inevitable, your service(s) will be shortened to keep on schedule.  No full or partial refunds will be given.

LATE ARRIVAL POLICY

To ensure timely service to each client, we will abbreviate or reschedule your service if you arrive 15 minutes or more past your scheduled appointment.

NO SHOW POLICY

Clients who fail to show up for appointments will forfeit that service.  Future appointments will need to be prepaid to be scheduled.  It is important that the practitioner be compensated for the reserved time.   

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

No additional fee will be charged for any service canceled or modified by the client due to inclement weather if the service or event is rescheduled for a future date.  We reserve the right to cancel any service or event in the case of inclement weather if it jeopardizes the safety of our practitioners.

CANCELLATION/MODIFICATION POLICY

24-Hour advance notice is required for rescheduling and cancellation of services.  Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full fee for services.  If the client modifies the appointment or reschedules the service with less than 24-hr advance notice, then ONLY 50% of the prepaid service cost will be credited towards the new appointment with the balance to be paid prior to the appointment. 

 

We are happy to reschedule your appointment and apply the full credit for the service towards a future appointment if 24-hr advance notice is given. 

Corporate clients must provide at least 72 hours’ notice to reschedule, cancel, or modify an appointment; weekends do not count toward the 72-hour notice policy.

  • If 72-hours advance cancellation notice is not given, but the cancellation notice is given with more than 24 hours advance notice, a 50% fee will be charged to the credit card on file. Full refunds will not be given.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone showing outward signs of illness, intoxication, recreational drug use or inappropriate behavior.
